Lead project engineer on single unit central station power plant projects, part of technical leadership team on large multiple unit projects, project manager on multiple short-term projects. Developed design documents, specification, installation drawings, testing and startup procedures. Lead team to develop an automatic process for populating plant database information into SAMA format control design drawings. This program reduces engineering costs of engineering drawing production by 25%, yielding higher profits and greater business growth opportunities for the company.
NIAGARA MOHAWK POWER Corp. (1982 – 1994)
Niagara Mohawk was the largest investor owned electric and gas utility in the state of New York. With over 10,000 employees Niagara Mohawk provided electric and gas to customers in a territory of over 21,000 square miles. As part of the deregulation in New York State, Niagara Mohawk has divested its interests in all generation facilities and merged its transmission and distribution interest with National Grid Companies.
